I am a technical advisor and marine social scientist focused on collaborative, evidence-informed social insights for climate and ocean governance.
I specialize in complex and early-stage ocean and climate solution spaces, where stakeholder priorities are diverse and trust is still forming. With a commitment to neutrality and collaboration, I conduct applied research and help organizations design responsible and effective strategies for social safeguards and engagement with interested and affected parties.
Inspired by the agile ancient ships that share this name, I created Lembus as a home for my independent research and engagement work— space for outcome-agnostic advising in the value-laden context of ocean and climate decision-making. I facilitate open dialogue, build relationships, and support evidence-informed practice. Attention to social aspects can strengthen legitimacy, enhance durability, and align ocean and climate solutions with the diverse values that shape successful outcomes.
